• Explain the nature and scope of hazards, their interaction with people, plant and environment and where hazards fit in the various contemporary risk management models.

SYNOPSIS

This module provides participants with a sound understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control as a fundamental component of risk management. It also includes the nature of hazards and how they  occur in the work environment resulting in loss and injury. Also, an overview of the legal framework governing hazard identification.
