COURSE OBJECTIVE

• To provide a controlled and documented approach to safely perform potentially hazardous types of work.


• PTW as a document to ensure that hazardous and risks have been identified, eliminated or managed prior to commencement of work.


• PTW as a means of communication between supervisors, technicians and those who carry out the work.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Participants will understand PTW system procedures.


• Participants will know how, what, when and  where to use this PTW.


• Create safety awareness amongst supervisors and their subordinates before they start any hazardous work.

SYNOPSIS

This course focuses on the PTW System with appropriate procedures to control and manage high risk tasks and activities. Structured to make the permit working process more easily understood by all relevant parties.
